The objective of Cyber Security Centre of Excellence is to catalyse and accelerate the growth of technology, entrepreneurship, and cyber security awareness in the nation by advancing the status of cyber security via research and innovation. Cyber security is a crucial aspect of modern digital life, affecting various technologies and critical national infrastructure. The need for research in cyber security has grown significantly to counter cyber-crimes. The Center aims to reduce vulnerability in national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in cyber defence, and producing professionals with expertise in the field. The mission of the Centre is to contribute to meeting the nation’s cyber security defence research and education needs by pursuing new funding opportunities. The goals of the centre include leading and advancing cyber security research at the University of Engineering and Management, serving as the hub for interdisciplinary research, organising international conferences, workshops, and scientific meetings, and collaborating with related industries to enhance knowledge about growing industry needs in cyber security.
